Advocates for Youth is a nonprofit organization and advocacy group based in Washington, D.C., USA, dedicated to sexuality education, the prevention of HIV and of sexually transmitted disease, teenage pregnancy prevention, youth access to condoms and contraception (including emergency contraception), equality for LGBT youth, and youth participation.
Counterspace was charged with creating an updated interface design, that could be implemented onto the existing CMS framework. The goal was to create an interface that extended from the Advocates for Youth logo mark, and could be easily updated by the internal staff without having to create too much custom artwork.
As a part of the project counterspace was asked to update the logo typography to make it clean, and provide them with a flexible typeface for their other marketing materials.
