SpaFinder's old website was redesigned at great cost with much to do around user testing. As a result, their website was confusing and hard to use, with an interface design that screamed amateur.

Counterspace was hired to work with their internal technology team to come up with information architecture and a new interface design. We worked on this particular project developing design and IA at the same time, which is not the ideal situation, but working closely with SpaFinder decision makers made this process work for this project.

We approached the design of the new SpaFinder by creating a softer framework of colors that echo the spa industry and cleaning up the IA as much as the technology team allowed. The newly launched website has been a game changer for SpaFinder, who has seen an increase in traffic and sales, but they have also become a leader amongst their competition.
